Translation documents

It is nature of translation services that we require your original documents and/or other files to give you a quote and fulfill your order. We understand that your documents may contain sensitive information and we take all possible steps to ensure the security and confidentiality of your uploaded files

• File uploaded during ordering process will only be accessible by the Sale Manager in charge of that specific language pair. Your file will be used only for the purpose of estimating translation effort (including word counting and difficulty evaluation) during this period. Files are uploaded over a 256-bit encrypted Secure Socket Layer (SSL) connection. You need to use a browser that supports SSL to complete the ordering process.
  
• If you do not accept our quote, your files will be securely deleted from our systems, including webservers and staff PC's. No copies of your documents will be retained by us and you will be to submit your order again if you change your mind and accept our quote.
  
• During the translation process, your documents are accessible to the persons directly involved in the order, including: sales person, translator, editors...
  
• After the your have confirmed the delivery of our translated documents, your files are stored by the project's main translator for a period of 7 days. After this period the documents are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
• Translation memory: We may use Computer Assisted Translation (CAT) tools such as Trados to translate your project to improve efficiency and accuracy. In that case, your documents may be stored in CAT tool's translation memory after the project finished, however they are usually store in the format of seperate, unordered language segments. If you do not want your project to be translated using a translation memory, please let us know when making your order.
• NDA: If required, a Non-Disclosure Agreement will be signed by all persons who have access to your documents. A fee may be charged for posting those forms back to you.

Information Obtained from Third Parties

We obtain address information about you from third party sources, such as the US Postal Service, to verify your address so we can properly ship your order to you and to prevent fraud.

If you provide us personal information about others, or if others give us your information, we will only use that information for the specific reason for which it was provided to us.
